Quote of the Day #1

“We have monthly meetings (monthly family meetings) every single month at the end of the month. We always have a recap of the month—how did we do in our marriage [and] with our finances—and we started to implement ILA into that…”

—Brittany Burke (interview on Break The Odds podcast)

Quote of the Day #2

“…it takes a lot of selflessness and saying, ‘Hey it’s not a competition.’…It’s really not a competition. When you let go of the competition and realize you are on the same team with the same common goal, everything will work together…Everybody wants to win…If you remember that in your mind and in your marriage—even if you are upset or bothered—it will blow past.”

—Jonathan Burke (interview on Break The Odds podcast)
